The fully digital monitoring substation is a key component of underground equipment in the coal mine safety production monitoring system. The substation is used in conjunction with a flameproof and intrinsically safe power supply box, which can provide intrinsically safe power for various intrinsically safe sensors, collect sensor signals in real time, and perform control operations according to set parameters after processing. The substation can not only communicate with the ground central station computer and transmit the collected values to the ground central station, but also execute various remote control instructions issued by the central station, and it also has an intelligent communication port that can connect to various intelligent devices.

The substation has 2 RJ45 electrical ports and three optical ports, and uses Ethernet to connect data with the ground central station. It has 4 RS485 communication interfaces, which can connect 16 RS485 digital sensors, 2 flow meters, and communicate with the power supply box.

The substation has the function of automatic sensor identification. The sensor port can automatically identify the type, range, number of decimal places, current status, etc. of the attached sensor without central station configuration.
