System Overview

The stall alarm device for trackless rubber-tyred vehicles in coal mines is designed for use in coal mines where trackless rubber-tyred vehicles provide auxiliary transportation. Due to the slope of underground tunnels, heavily loaded or overweight vehicles traveling up or down can experience brake failure and excessive speed, potentially leading to runaway accidents. The alarm device features automatic control, real-time display, and alarm functions to protect personnel safety, minimize economic losses, and ensure safe production in coal mine transportation. It is suitable for use in underground transport tunnels in hazardous areas such as coal dust and explosive methane gases.

Device Components

The alarm device consists of a mine-grade intrinsically safe damper status sensor, a mine-grade intrinsically safe programmable controller, a mine-grade remote power supply, a mine-grade flameproof and intrinsically safe DC regulated power supply, a mine-grade intrinsically safe radar speed sensor, a mine-grade flameproof and intrinsically safe DC regulated power supply, a mine-grade flameproof and intrinsically safe DC solenoid for hydraulic valves, and a mine-grade flameproof and intrinsically safe voice alarm.

Working Principle

When a vehicle loses speed control, the radar speed sensor transmits a stall signal to the controller. If the controller identifies the signal as consistent with an accident signal, it outputs a trigger release signal, which is then sent to the lane controller, causing the audible and visual alarm box to immediately alert the vehicle.
